Looking to put a set of 15x8.5 Torq Thrust D wheels on the rear of my Duster, with 3.750" backspacing. The tire is a 255/60/15. Should I be okay and not in danger of not fitting or rubbing, or should I move down to 15x8?

I am in the process of putting them on my Demon. they look like they are going to clear with a 28x10.50 slick but not 100% because I haven't driven a car with them on. Pictures in my thread Ratty 71 Demon

not a clue
but if i had someone mount and balance tires for me, and they came back with that much weight on it, i can garantue you that tires was coming back of and someone else in the show was doing it
someone who might know what the little colored dots on a tire mean

famousbob , i'll weight a couple today for you . have vintage and next breads . had a large collection of them years ago . sold off more then people believe . did nothing but five spokes at swapmeets in the 80'2 n 90's . that guys take pics of them from pomona meet to portland . back to it . 15x8.5's weight is my quest . like these pic'd . oh and the new breads had some new slicks on them , could you feel that ride down the track , wow no ! sitting right on top of that r/e in the digger . but of course it was just a mach up garage show rail . never left its house . i'll peel them weights , lol .
