torque converters

I know I will get many different opinions, but I'll ask anyway.....Who is the best company to deal with for an aftermarket torque converter? I'm looking for a 2500 to maybe a 2800 stall converter for a 727.

I agree with Kevin. Call PTC Thats who is doing mine for the dart. One good thing for me is they are only hour or so away.

Has anybody used an "SMR" converter? if so did it work well?

Call dynamic, ultimate and PTC and see which you feel most comfortable with. All three will build ya an awesome piece..

I had one from dynamic and loved it. Worked just as they said it would.

well that what I like to hear....somthing that works like it is advertised to do. I'v heard bad things about TCI regaurding this.

well, this is mostly a street driven car that will see light track use, so my trans guy ( and a racer himself) says to stay with an 11 inch converter, and I tend to agree.

The Turbo Action 11" would be perfect then.
