I need some advice, I'm going to reinforce the torsion bar sockets in the cross member for the rear anchors. What thickness of material should I use? Was thinking 1/8", sound about right? Thanks all.

Well we will learn together. I've got a "general" idea from other posts here. Hopefully next week end I will be setting engine in place with trans, headers, torsion bars, steering linkage etc. If I have time I plan on making templates with trans x member in place. If not I will bolt x member in place by itself later. Doing all this before paint to check clearances.
