torsion bar HELP (adj bolt came out of cup/stuck)

torsion bars were out while installing new crossmember. was adjusting them up after installing the motor and the bolt slipped :angel2: off the adjuster.

What can I do? the bolt head is tucked in where it won't turn. No way to get a socket on it.

Jack it up on the frame rail/k frame and let it hang. It may have enough room to get it out. You may need to pull the LCA ball joint loose or pull t bar back out.

I hope you weren't adjusting it with tension, ie tire on the ground, jack under LCA.

Make sure the torsion bar arm is clocked properly.

Jack stands under front frame rails tires hanging. wasn't paying enough attention when tightening adj. wasn't in the cup boooooooooom. going to try loosening the LCA ball joint. Thanks

Put a jack under the LCA so it doesn't blast towards the ground while under tension.

Your right it does look bent.
