torsion bar question

I am converting my 73 340 duster into a 383 car
i want to upgrade the torsion bars. my question is what size
.890 dia. (stock 383 size) or .920 has anybody done this switch
or had experiance.

The factory bars in my bb 68 B`cuda seem fine, I don`t know why you would need heavier bars unless you were autocrossing. For dragging the /6 bars are the choice of many. You need to ask yourself how you`re going to use the car and choose accordingly.

I'm using the .890" in the Demon with a 383. Nice firm front end (which is important for me) and good ride but not to stiff. I'm talking about the torsion bars. :burnout:

sounds like i'll go with the 890, i do plan on hitting the track but i have a 3 hour min. drive to get there plus this will be my daily driver
