Im just running cheap Monroe's but I plan on upgrading someday to the KYB's
Ugh!!!! I bought two sets of the turquoise colored monroe
sourced shocks sold thru' the DC/MP program, they were godawful, the manufacture
consistency wasn't there. I tried going thru' the bleeding procedure, etc. etc. but the
car felt like a freekin' teeter totter when I drove it. I bought another vehicle much
later w/the same shocks on it,which I promptly removed, and set them aside. Later
I set all the front units side by side,(yes I still had the ones I bought prev.),and set
a weight on them one at a time. Only two of them came close to the same resistance
rate, and repeating the test only made it worse.
I would like to think modern ones are better, but they soured Me
on their product based on that experience, you only get one chance at a first impression
as they say.
