Yes. All a-body torsion bars are interchangeable.

Search in Suspension forum. Many posts and opinions. Most like thicker than stock. One size is most popular and thus cheapest (1.000"D?).
Yes. also some are "clocked" and some are not. It can make a difference for installation.
