Alright so on my torsion bars one of them has 888 and the other has 889...does that mean they are diffrent torsion bars?? Also one has a L and one has a R after the numbers..does that stand for left and right?

one number if left side, and the other is right. should also have a L & R stamped on the end

Sorry did finish reading the post. even #'s & odd #'s depict left or right

yea i saw the L and R on the ends...does that stand for left and right? if so wat would the drivers side be..left or right?

drivers side should be left and an odd number. Pass side should have an even number followed by an "R"

does anyone have the number to diameter cross reference? for example the 890 and 891 bars are .810 right? those are the ones I have in my /6 duster and the rate is too fast with the front sitting a little low.

It's late but I'll try anyway
890 and 891's - 0.85" slant six
892 and 893's - 0.87" most v-8's and /6 with a/c
894 and 895's - 0.89"

thanks dartguy, thats what I was looking for, I was a little confused while looking for .890 torsion bars and finding 890R and 891L bars, I have even seen people selling ones on evilbay that say 890R V8 bars.
