trip to Mexico

dropped the wife off at the airport yesterday. flew to phoenix, was going to fly to Dallas this morning, then to Mexico City landing this afternoon. Airline called, flight to Mexico was canceled, plane was "damaged". she now will fly from Dallas to Miami, hang around the airport in Miami for several hours, then leave for Mexico City, landing at 10:30 tonight. Hell of a way to start a vacation.......damn, I will be alone for the almost 3 weeks....

but seriously even without delays and screwups, it sure is a pain in the *** getting there with the lines and customs and all that crap. Especially in the warmer months.

Ok ,how much beer should I bring,do you have hd tv,are there any casinos close by,I don't like spicy food but if you give me enuff beer anything is possible,and I suppose the other 13,000 will want to come to the party.:-D

she is going with her sister and her Dad, and they are meeting a family member that goes to Mexico City several times a year, hopefully they will stay away from trouble...

i think that is first on there list of things to do....and I am not completely alone, I have our 2 African Grey's for entertainment. They are mimicking the sound of my farting in my wooden chair as I type this.....

just heard from her, they were in some small village south of Mexico City, at what is apparently the only phone in the village......said something about having to take a shower with a bucket, damn, I am glad I could not/did not want to go....
