Good Lord.
I started down that road but they would be 300 to 500 each, no one is going to pay that when a 50.00 meter match and a 50.00 aftermarket sender are available.. So maybe with salvaged parts from an OEM fuel pickup / float assembly, maybe a new one can be rebuilt into what it needs to be
Yes, there are also less expensive versions that seem to work well too. I have no personal experiences with eitherhis is the first Ive heard of the Meter Match, do many people run them
You forget though, this kinda stuff IS fun for a lot of peopleI just don't understand. As long as the fuel gauge WORKS and READS EMPTY whe it is close to empty, that's really all that matters. But go ahead. Reinvent the wheel. Go to a lot of trouble. Some of yall just take the fun out of everything. It's supposed to be a FUN hobby! Fix your junk and go drive the car!
Well let um have it! I'll be drivin down the road. lolYou forget though, this kinda stuff IS fun for a lot of people![]()
And my dad drove my Dart for decades with out a functioning fuel gauge by watching his milage. He only ran out of gas once.I just don't understand. As long as the fuel gauge WORKS and READS EMPTY whe it is close to empty
My fuel gauge is reading empty long before it is actually empty. I'm too nerdy to live with that. This is something for me to work on, having the fuel gauge be accurate, or at least reasonably accurate.I just don't understand. As long as the fuel gauge WORKS and READS EMPTY when it is close to empty, that's really all that matters. But go ahead. Reinvent the wheel. Go to a lot of trouble. Some of yall just take the fun out of everything. It's supposed to be a FUN hobby! Fix your junk and go drive the car!
