Since I've had my car the wipers haven't worked. Just looking for some advice on where to look first. Are there common parts that go bad? How do I test things like the wiper motor, switches, etc... I have a '72 340 duster. Thanks.

see if your getting power to the wiper motor. if you are check the ground on the motor...

My wiper pivots were extremely hard to operate. I replaced them and now I got wipers.

wiper motors can go from time to time, but check to make sure you are getting power and ground to the motor first, then check the easy stuff before replacing the motor (are the linakages free to move)
