JR's first crack at body work. He wasn't to sure at first, but he learned to hate it.
He actually did a very nice job, even with the crappy tools I provided (sort of on purpose).
Next time, some better tools and maybe a whole paint job!

Great work. I would like to see a little more on what was done. Were they replaced or just fixed? Towards the front part of my trunk I have a rusty hole on the gutters on each side. And of course this led to water leaking into the trunk and then rusting more down in the spare tire well. Do you have any "before" pictures.

Yeah leaves get stuck in the gutter, gutters rust out etc. Here you go:

Not professional by any stretch. Probably won't last forever. But at least the water won't pour in the trunk. And we used plenty of seam sealer, haha. Thankfully the previous owner had pulled the body plugs in the spare tire well. Or this could have been a lot worse.

And oh yeah, there was a lot more spot welds stitching in the pieces before we called it good. Almost a solid weld from the front to the back before we were done. Be sure and jump around a lot and take breaks so you don't warp any metal. Then lots of grinding too.

What replacement gutters are those?

AMD. I think for a 73 Scamp the 67-69 Dart worked best. Don't hold me to that. Really to do it right and if you have enough good metal you should probably drill the spot welds and save as much metal as you can. We didn't really have a choice. We just cut the old ones out and stitched them in.
