TrunK mat

Does the trunk mat goes under the tire or over it in 72 Duster? Does anyone have pictures of their trunk? Thanks

In my 74 Dart it goes over the tire and there is a piece of "Masonite" that goes over the tire rim and under the mat to smooth it out. Hope it helps.

Hops can you post a picture of it and is your spare one of those small tires or the size that is on the car.

IT IS A SAFETY SPARE THAT IS 16" SINCE I PUT REAR DISKS FROM A JEEP ON THE CAR, iT WILL NOT BE RIGHT FOR YOU.

Thanks. I have a 14" spare so it doesn't go below the trunk floor.
