Is a TRW and Thompson the same power steering pump, if not which one would be the more likely one to be found in a 68 Barracuda with a V8.
I don't understand why Chrysler just couldn't run the same pump and pressure line for all three years 67,68,69. This would be less confusing for everbody, but no let's use TRW, Thompson and Federal and make them all look similiar.

TRW/Thompson is one pump and that is what was on our 68 Barracuda with a 318. The other two are the Federal and the Saginaw found on various models and engine sizes. Makes for a nice puzzle game figuring out absolutely what was on what when.

Probably thought up by the same idiot that put the steering box 1 inch away from the motor.
