I just went back and read your first post again. A good set of Drag radials will be a night and day deference in traction. but there is a trade off(there always is) they wont last vary long on the street compared to the cooper.
As crackedback said. "12.50 et mph in a 15.50 chassis"

Yes, that’s the Jalopy in question. If/when I pull the trigger on some drag radials I’ll put them on different rims and use them for playing around. I cruise this thing everywhere so the Coopers will remain the primary tires.
