Whats everyones Thanksgiving plans and are you taking the Mopar to the familys get together? Post some holiday pics so we can all share the holiday together.

Nice idea for a thread Pete. The kids and I have a strange tradition for turkey day. My 3 kids that live with their mother come over Tuesday night and they (along with my 4 yr old that I have custody of) help me cut up all the bread and the rest of the ingredients for the stuffing. When they get up in the morning they have a light breakfast and relax and then we eat our Thanksgiving dinner around noon. They love telling their friends how they had Thanksgiving dinner while still in their pajamas. Afterwards they get dressed and we go to a movie and then its back home to set up the Christmas tree and decorate. I know its a little unconventional to do it on wednesday, but it gives us time to relax and enjoy a holiday w/o having to rush to 4 different places. Thursday they can then spend time with their mothers family and do it conventionally. So what are your plans Pete and Mike? and anyone else that chimes in after I post this.

I,m gonna make the run from Houston to Tulsa to my mom and dads house. My sisters will be there and it will be the first time in 30 years that weve all been together for Thanksgiving. I,ll take some pics of the road trip and dinner. I,m having a hard time staying away from the dealership so I could show up in a new Charger.lol

:toothy10::toothy10::tongue9::tongue8::spam1:I coined that title from somewhere might have been here. Seemed appropriate as we trot on over to the kin folks to feed our faces. Dont forget to be thankful this year. And extend a hand to help someone out this holiday season. Remember, its up to us to make this world a better place.

So true Pete, well said!!! Would making sure that Dodge dealership salesman gets a nice commision off of a Charger purchase count? :-D

Wife's great Grandma is in town staying with her Mom up the road.
We will be getting together at my Mother in Law's house and I will finally get some guy time with my Mother in law's boyfriend and best bud Jack who is my one and only hunting partner, the only guy I trust in the woods with a gun, and my Brother in law Matt who is so fun to be around despite the fact that a car accident left him with some strange motor skills, drunk sounding speech, bad short term memory and attention span, but he always has the funniest stuff to say with his witty humor.

My sis is flying up to my Mom's, who just lost her Husband, to help out and be there for my MOm to cook for all my relatives who live up there so they can have a big Thanksgiving like they are used to.
Holidays will be different at my Mom's because her Husband did not like Holidays at all and was notorious for keeping people away during the holidays so I think it will have its ups and downs this year.

I would like to take the Dart but I'd rather drive with the family on that day since I can't fit them all in the Dart.

sounds great cudaspaz, hope its a good time. And Ron how old are the other 3, I bet its fun with 4 kids in the kitchen.Do you bake cookies too?

We are always making cookies and cupcakes. But the kids favorite is my homemade banana bread. My daughters are 15 and 12, and my sons are 14 and 4. Its a blast with everyone in the kitchen. They all love to cook and my 4 yr old has decided he wants an easy bake oven for Christmas. Im pretty sure he figures if he gets 1 then there will be an endless supply of cupcakes coming out of it :-D

Great pics Mike! Looks like you all had a great time and theres nothing better than being surrounded by family and friends!! Seeing that table loaded with food almost makes me want to eat some more =P~

Here's a pic of my very good friend and her little boy who suffers from cerebal palsy, COPD and is deaf. Thank to her hard work, his quality of life is fantastic and he attends school regularly. He's a great kid that just got a raw deal at birth. Shortly after this picture was taken, we got a phone call that her Grandfather's tumor is receeding.

It was a great Thanksgiving and we all had something to be thankful for.

We had a good time at my wife's aunt's house with her family. I didn't know until the last minute if we'd get to take the Cuda because early in the week they were forcasting rain but it cleared out so we got to take it. It's a 40 mile ride there down I-55 and we got several thumbs up by passers so that was neat. It was a great day for this time of the year. Over 50 degrees and sunny. We pigged out on turkey and all the fixins and several pies and then kicked back and talked for 3 hrs. It was a good day and we had alot to be thankful for.:prayer:
