So, I had just finished up putting in a new turn signal clicker and was checking lights and trying to get the floppy and broken turn signal stalk to hopefully catch a ground and fix itself by wiggling it. All of a sudden, the emergency flashers (front park lights) turned on and started flashing. I wiggled the hazard light button to get them to turn off. Once they turned off, I noticed that the right blinker was still going and would not turn off. Then I tried to wiggle the turn signal and the hazard button at the same time, the left blinker turned on and the right turned off. When I let go of everything, the right turn signal turned back on and then the REAR LEFT TURN SIGNAL TURNED ON. and only the left. this was super weird because there has been no power in the back of the car before today. Test light, jump wire, all the tests have proved no power to the rear lights. Then after checking the rear light and getting back in the car, the column shift indicator was lit up. (also previously dead.) After more wiggling, I got the lights to stop blinking and turn off. THEN THE MARKER LIGHT BULB SHOT OUT OF THE SOCKET AND LANDED IN FRONT OF THE CAR. do I need a priest?

I think your column TS switch is screwed. There are probably bits of the internal parts floating around making unwanted contact

As far as the bulb, I would guess you didn't quite have it locked into the socket and it "sprang" outta there

I can't hep ya with the priest. I ain't Catholic. Maybe what you need is...........

Is this a 1958 Plymouth Fury ? You better fix it before an electrical fire.
