I have a 1971 Demon that the inside rear view mirror will not stay in place. It is a ball (mirror) and socket (base) type mirror that I can post a picture later in the week if needed. I thought of super gluing it, but that is a last resort. Secondly, does any one know of a media blaster in or close to Pittsburgh, PA as Google came up empty,
Thanks,

I believe there is an allen headed set screw to adjust the tension on it if I am not mistaken. Remove the mirror and look at it.

my swinger had that problem too I just took that one off and switched out to another a body mirror that had no play in it

There is a flex plate (that name came to my mind) inside with two screws on the one side and a lone screw on the oter with a hole in the middle of the plate where the ball pushes into. Tighten the lone screw and the plate presses against the ball of the mirror. Now I can see behind me without holding the damn thing up.
