How is this unit attached to the inner fender. there are two holes that a bracket might bolt to. does anybody have one.

Looks like a strap type bracket. If you don't care about all original parts, you can make one easily with metal strapping.

Any chance you can post any more pics of the OE system?

Trying to piece one back together - the previous owner left 'most" of what he yanked off for the 318 swap in a couple of boxes in the trunk...

The factory setup is a little more involved than just a strap but a homemade strap will work.
