Unknown Bell Housing

Bell housing on the right is cast aluminum or some kind of alloy, I acquired this in a parts purchase and have no need for it yet can't find a part number anywhere. Snout hole is 5 1/8" and clearly won't work on my Cuda nor do I know if it did fit, is an aluminum bell housing a bad idea? Thanks for any input.

At a quick glance, based on the snout hole size, it looks like an Overdrive bell for truck or van, but because of the square hole on top most likely it is a 69-80 truck nonoverdrive unit.
