Theresa & I have a road trip planned , to leave in a couple days ! We have to go up to MO for some family visits and will be dropping parts off along the way. Our first stop will be at @RustyRatRod & Kittys in the Macon area, then on to Mount Eagle in Tenn to meet up and drop off some stuff for @1967highdefsatellite . 3rd stop is in IL to meet up with @rbkt65 to drop off a bunch of brake parts, then on to @moparbuff in St. Louis to drop off some Duster glass. WE will post a few pics of things of interest along the way, If I can get "T" to participate ! Then about a week with family, and then on down into the Ozark region for a meet up with a Guy to do some Pickin ! I don't want to spill the beans on this yet as no deal is made as of yet , but should hopefully work out !

So if you get board ,check in along the way.
 

Look at yall roll , great to see a well thought out trip, safe travels to yeah, and looking forward to updates on this thread.
 
Well as usual, when it rains it pours, A parts car popped up here in Fl we have to go pick up tomorrow morning

I believe is a 73 .. Drag it home and hide it out back then go ahead with our trip. With possibly a stop in Paducah for more stuff.

Jackie, another case of Facebook marketplace useless sellers that want to sell stuff but never carry out the deal. So this person can keep the car and all the Pythons that live in it !!!
 
Well here's how this escapade went down. Was supposed to leave 1rst thin this morning for the Jurassic Dart. No call or contact. So I spent 1 hour unloading the flatbed trailer and accessories in the trunk. Hooked up to my inclosed trailer for our roadtrip tomorrow morning. Then Theresa comes out and tells me the lady got ahold of her . So I spent another 45 minutes swapping everything back !!! :BangHead: So 2 1/4 hours over there to find this thing. Get there and get out the truck and some grumpy Ole Hermit starts ragging, can't understand stand a word coming out of his mouth. Thought I was gonna have to Throat punch em, but the the old lady hollered out the door to save the day. Didn't see the car at first as it was buried in the jungle

hey still in the jungle, . Even I have a limit on junk . And this is the worst. Well except for that 68 notchback that crumbled into pieces as I pulled it out.

Long story short, it didn't look to have any thing to salvage. Lady said it ran 2 years ago when they parked there. More like 2 decades !
So about 5 hours, $50 in tolls and half a tank of gas. We are back home getting ready for our roadtrip ! Hopefully this goes better !

I'm jealous I used to do that everyday when I was married now I sit at home and wait on deals to come to me it's awesome to go Source Parts on the road and in people's backyards I miss it.. I miss it a lot..Have safe and fun adventure hope you strike paydirt !!!
 
Ratrod Al, Can you stop in Maryland on the way and pick up my engine? Then swing by New Jersey for the frame rails and stop off in Long Island for the fenders.. They can all be dropped off in upstate New York. Thanks.

This is what I hate about people who hoard and hold on to things thinking it's worth so much and that everybody is just a city slicker looking to screw them out of their Fortune. They let that **** rot into the ground. Complete waste. Most of those people's places are pretty indicative of how well they take care of things
..lost in time and lost to the elements.
 
Can you swing through Cleveland and get my heads and intake from PBR.s son?
