Ok yesterday we were told that my little Lilly had lost all feeling in her legs and the ability to comtrol here bodily functions. Well today we went to the Vet to see her she can now feel her legs and when I pet her butt she moved her tail. So they referred us to Nprth Carolina State University to see a specialist and when we got there she started moving her right leg. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep praying for little LILLY it is working. Thanks guy so much I had come to terms with the fact that today would be the last day I would get to spend with her but now it looks like she just might make it. I love you guys thanks so much. And for everybody that has helped thank you.

Keeping prayers coming for Lilly. We all know many stories of pets that defied the vet's prognosis. Thanks for the update.

I really hope it all works out, your pets are really your best friend. And they are stronger then what we sometimes give them credit for.Dont loose
hope, not to sound sappy but your love for them will help them survive through tough times.Dont ever give up!You stay with them and they will fight
with you.Remember, your all they have,if they know they still have
that, they will stick around for the fight,if not they will check out.Been there.
HOPE!!!!!!

i know what you are feeling. A year and a half ago one of my 2 dogs was diagnosed with cancerous tumors. They showed up as huge lumps. We payed for the 1st surgery then another lump appeared a month after. We payed for the 2nd surgery and were very hopeful. We didnt have any funds left to pay for more, so we kept our fingers crossed. to continue my sob story, soon after that my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (august 2008)
My oldest daughter was 3 and very aware that something was wrong with her 2 favorite ladies. (mom and sugar) Then it happened again. 7 months later a very massive tumour on my dogs back. this one was horrible. it was basically a huge open wound that was constantly weeping. i bathed her every night and started dressing the area with no results. My now almost 4year old daughter was watching her grandmother and her dog wither away. In may my mom took a turn for the worse and passed away. i was worried that sugar would be going soon after and i was really worried about my daughter losing soo much in a short period of time so i scraped together some money and went back to the vet to have just one more tumour removed but the vet would not touch her. the suggested we put her down right now. I could not do it. My wife and i left the vet and took sugar for a long walk. It was then i decided i would keep trying to keep the area clean and dry & keep my dog as happy as can be until we had no choice. Then something amazing happened. at 1st i thought it was me wanting to see something that was not happening but it turned out to be real. the tumour was shrinking, very rapidly. the wound i could not get to scab over was not only scabbing but it was healing. 2 weeks after we were told to "put her down now cause there is nothing that can be done" she hardly had a sign of a tumour and 4 weeks after it was gone. She has been fine since and i know she can get another but i feel that the extra love, care and attention helped her heal. The moral of the story for you is to keep thinking positive. Anything can happen! Sorry all for this very long post.

Dusted, I said prayers for Lilly twice yesterday and am going to do so again shortly. I am so glad to hear of her progress.

Some good news today on Lilly......prayers sent for the continued progress.

I truly feel your pain....:angel5:

I'm with you brother. I know she's a part of the family. Amazing things happen with enough faith.

She took a turn for the worse this morning and the doc just called she is goin in for surgery in a little while and that it is gonna cost us at least $3500. The doc gave her a 90-95% chance of recovery. Keep praying and we will have her home before no time.

Prayers away. $3500 is alot of coinage. Can I paypal you $40 towards the cost? Anything to help a bro (and pooch) out.

dusted72......We're sending more prayers your way for Lilly.

Sounds like the Doc is optimistic about her recovery. That is great news....Thanks for the update, just hang in there.

Just got off the phone with the doc and he said that she has a 85-95% chance to lead a normal doggie life. He said that no amount of drugs and therapy could have fixed her. One of the disc's blew out and surgery was the only fix. Thanks again for the prayers it means alot to my family. It is good to know that there are still people that care and are genuinely good people.

THANK GOD FOR MY FABO FAMILY!!!!!!! You are the greatest group of guys and gals on the planet!!!!
