It turns out this is NOT an original 340 Duster :( But it does have a 340 in it :D But it doesn't run :(
So here's some pix the guy sent me today,it's not to bad.
For what i'm paying for it i can't pass it up,if it's in to bad of shape i'll just use it for a parts car for mine.
What do you guys think? Did i do good?

Lets see...straight body, no major rust, bucket seats, and a 340....I would say you did good if you got for as cheap as you're hinting you did. If you got it for less than $1k I'd say you're off to a good start :thumrigh:

I got a 340 in my dart when i bought it, and sold the 340 2 weeks later for $560 with a cast crank, needing a rebuild. So I think you probably got a good deal!
By the way, what year is the 340? ( not that it matters)

Good find! but the suspense is killing me.... What'd ya pay??

Actually i didn't pay anything yet, these pics. were taken where the car is sitting.I'm gonna be getting it sometime the end of next week.
It belongs to a friend of a friend and were still trying to set-up a time i can pick it up.

Halfaed, i don't know what year the engine is all i know about it is that the guy said it doesn't run.
The first thing i'm gonna check when i go for it is to make sure it is a 340,right now i'm just taking the guys word for it because i haven't seen it in person yet.

I'll keep you guys posted and get more pix when i get it home. :)
