Upper seal under chrome Windsheild trim.1968 Dart

When I removed my Upper chrome trim on the front windshield (Where Top Latches). There was like a tar based foam for a seal. It was removed during resto. I put some adhesive backed HVAC weatherstrip in it place but I'm getting wind noise. Anyone no where I can get the proper seal or similar? Sorry no pics.

I believe Detroit muscle Has it. Check out this thread Windshield S/S trim seals and then check with @RealWing

I think the goo is old foam that has desolved.

DM does sell the material that goes between trim and body. I have the same foam that came with a another kit and will give it to you free ( I didn't need it) for price of shipping 7.90 flat rate USPS pm me if interested
