Upper Steering Column Bearing

1972 Plymouth Scamp. Should the bearing in the upper steering coupler be loose or fit snug in the shaft hole?

Uh, yeah. Pics required.

After seeing the pic, that's the column housing. That bearing is a slip fit, not a press fit.
