Previous owner stuffed some sort of rubber stopper in the drain hole, was hoping it was just a lost bolt... Put new bolt in, it won't tighten. My luck, P.O. stripped the :cussing:. Ripped the old rubber stopper, can't reuse it (came out as one piece, but is ripped very badly and would only be worse than the bolt in the stripped hole).

Since pan is beat to hell and has weld boogers, figured it would be easier to replace pan instead of screwing with hit-or-miss quick fixes...

Where is the best place to find a pan and gasket for the 318 for really cheap? Is there anyone near El Paso with a spare? Need it ASAP, or all my damn Mobil-1/Lucas is gonna drip out before I can reclaim it (drain back into jug to put back in engine, since it's brand new and expensive)...
