Is it possible to use a 73 fender to patch the areas where the 71 fenders mount to the car? I know they aren't interchangeable mostly due to the fender extensions/different hoods but if I can't sell these fenders I would like to at least save some good metal for the places I need it most.

I have good 71 fenders if you need them
I bought a set that are good except for where they bolt to the inner fenders. If I buy another set they'll probably be fiberglass
Just replying to this thread in case some stumbles across it later. It seems that is indeed an area that never changed over the years. Here's the lower rear patch from AMD and it's listed as 67-76
