Vacation Suggestions // So Cal

I hope I'm in the right forum ......

Amy & me have been disscussing our vacation and have decided to do San Diego. Yeah...Yeah... I know about the place with the fish and the black & white bears. I want to know about the car scene. I have my better half's permission to schedule our visit around an event. Any note worthy shows down there? Fall Fling? GoodGuys? Hot Rod reunion? Anything near the San Diego area towards the fall? I don't mind driving 100 miles or so.... which could take all day from what I hear.

C`mon guys, help me out! After all this is how I got to hang out with Bob Riggle during Mopars at the Strip when it came time to do Vegas!

fallfling is sometime in mid october, in the LA valley. Its suppose to be around 90 miles between LA and SD, a lil more to get to the valley. Its like a 2 hour drive, not too bad.

I'd love to travel overseas but there's too much here I want to see first. So far it's looking like San Diego is gonna happen this fall. Just have to iron out details.
