Hi from Finland! I am doing a transmission swap from 904 to 727 and would like to know what length of drive shaft to use.. Haven't got the tranny yet so cant measure it but found some shafts for sale and would like to know the measure if someone knows..

If you have a slip yoke 904 now and are swapping to a 727, you'll need a driveshaft about 4 1/4- 4 1/2" shorter and with the same rear u-joint size and 727 yoke to match. If you're pulling out a push button 904 with a flange on the back, I'd wait until I got the transmission installed and take a measurement. Either way, I would just cut down my existing driveshaft and just get the correct yoke for it.
