I can't see the numbers on mine because it's on the car, but I believe your trunk medallion is for a 63.

The angle of the "v" looks different to me on the '63 part. What is the diameter on it?

As far as I can see the 2244 297 is for 62 Valiant SV1 special club coupe. There are a couple of different part numbers used on different models in 62 and 63, But that is the only application I found for the part number in question.
PS: mymopar has these manuals available for download. The medallions are in section 23

Thanks Charrlie, that confirms what I thought. I got this in a group buy with a bunch of '62 Signet parts. The gentleman I bought it off of had no '63 parts.

Well, that pretty well seals the deal. Amazing (to me anyway) that Chrysler would go to the trouble to design and produce two medallions from one year to the next that look so similar but are not the same.

I did find a picture online of a 62 Signet with this trunk medallion.

From what I could determine, it is only used on one model. The SV1 special club coupe.
