got a mint 70 valiant trunk lid the other day. its off a 70 4dr. i would assume this fits 67-9 2 dr and 70 4 dr? trunk lid on 2 dr valiants changed in 70 or 71?

I thought that they would physically fit from 1967 to 1973. 2 door and 4 door used the same lid.
There may have been styling changes from year to year for the trim.

71 valiant uses the same lid as a 70+ dart. just wasnt sure about 70-down.

Wrong. The '70 Dart went to the sloped trunk line, the Valiant kept the square style through 1973.

Note the 1972 and later side marker lenses.

post 70 4drs had the big trunk lid. i had a 71 valiant 2dr and it had the sloped trunk lid and it went on a 70 dart. i think i have it sorted out now. just wanted to make sure i listed it properly. appreciate the help guys.

Your 71 Valiant 2 door was a Valiant "Scamp". It also had a 111" wheelbase despite being a 2 door model.
The 4 door Valiants used that squared off trunklid through 1973. They had a 108" wheelbase.

A '70 4dr lid is the same (not counting trim) as '67-9 Valiant all models, and '70-3 Valiant 4dr's. Darts and '71-up Scamps are different.
