He might have just loaded the wrong picture... V8 cars could very well have an 8 3/4 in them factory. But that being the case, it's not worth $1200 in a used, open diff setup, and I have a hard time thinking that car had "metal work" done looking at it. Regardless it's worth what the buyer and seller agree on. For every real buyer he's got 5 wannabees asking the same questions and trying to feel important. So go over the car carefully in person, and offer what you feel it's worth. He either says yes or no. Given the Fast and Loud deal making atmosphere he may have priced it at twice what he'll really take. If not, walk away and save up for the pedigree car.
