Valve cover fitment issue with RPM Air gap intake

-
I cut my valve covers along the runners 20 years ago to clear the intake. It’s on the backside and I don’t think anyone has ever noticed. I use metal core (moroso or Mopar performance I forget which) gaskets because they’re reusable and sealed much better than anything I tried over the years. To me the MP covers are still the best looking and have aged well. No intention on selling. Good luck!

The 1646 gaskets are connected by a metal strip between the two cork pieces.

I use studs as well…just easier no matter what gaskets you use

The "doubled up" Felpro 1646 gaskets work well with the MP valve covers and Air Gap intake. I tried the Morso rubber gaskets first and could not get them to seal properly. My Felpro's have been on for 4 years now w/o any issues. I went with longer bolts, tried studs and they just kept coming loose.
