Valve Springs???

Just Wondering If Anyone Knows What Stock 318 Valve Springs Can Handle. I Am Running A 340 Rest Cam Right Know But Im Doing A Cam Change To Comp280h .480 Lift, Can Anyone Tell Me If Stock Springs Will Work With This Cam?

Valve float at 3000 RPM does not make for a cool ride. Get springs.

Comp's recommended spring for that cam is the 901-16, which is their "stock" spring. The original springs with dampers work, if they are fairly new, otherwise new springs are cheap insurance.
