Anyone put van seats in an early a body?
I see mid 70s sets from a100 vans and wondered if anyone did this in theirs? How was the fitment?
My 65 bench is pretty torn up and want to go to buckets

Thanks!

I have swaped various seats into various cars. As long as the seat tracks fit inbetween the frame rail and tranny hump, your mostly good to go with the tight drill bit and hardware.

In my Duster, I swung in 2001 Concord seat. The draw back is they do not lean foward. Comfy though. I had to fab up some simple brackets out of box beam. Click below.

Were you planning on using the A990 seat tracks?

Early b-body floor pans might be different, they have raised areas near the trans tunnel, thus the reason for the different heights between the inner and outer seat tracks. I bet they could made to fit an early A though

I'm interested to see how you work this out since I have a set of NOS A100 van seats and A990 seat tracks myself. They were left over from another project, was considering putting them in my Val at one point too.
