vapor smoke?

When I go to turn the car off after messing with the carb, I get a tad of smoke come out...not a puff but its a thick cloud very small..does this mean too much fuel? I need to know because im having trouble messing with the vacuum on the car also. I hope its not water leaking into the engine.

Smoke out the tailpipe? Black=fuel...too rich. Blue=oil. White=coolant. Colorblind? Give it the sniff test. What in the world do you mean by "messing with the vacuum"?

no out of the carb is were the smoke is coming from...messing as in trying to set it for max vac.

When the engine shuts off, all the fuel vapors in the hot intake manifold try to escape.
That what you are seeing.
