Looks like I get to spend the week after Xmas around the Las Vegas area (Staying In Mesquite)
Would love to find a car show or a couple of good yards to walk through. I m gonna have some time to kill for myself and plan on puting plenty of miles on a rental driving around looking for interesting car stuff while travel partners go about their business.

I dont golf or gamble.

Museums, Yards, car shows... or just anyone wanting to show off their ride!

Carol Shelby Museum. Very cool. It used to be by the NASCAR track but I believe it is over by the RIO & Palms now. I believe the old Imperial Palace car museum is still open even though the IP is now called the LINK. You'd probably have to ask at the desk.

And if you like history, The Mob Museum downtown is really cool. It even has a speakeasy in the basement. The Neon Museum is great also. It has tons of old by-gone casino signs. Awesome at night but you should call for times.
