Verify cam specs??

I have a cam that is suppose to be a purple shaft .509. No spec card and only one set of numbers on the cam. Those numbers do not cross to anything related to a purple shaft.

Is there a way to have the cam measured to verify the specs? I will not run it unless I know for sure what it is.

The actual events are published online by a few racers that profiled them. I've always just measured lift and figured it that way with the MP purples. Not much imagination there.
