Extremely solid all original metal 68 fastback. Interior like new. 318 904 radio delete car. The 318 is camed up and is not extremely fast, but car was running 9.40s in the 1/8th. Car is partly disassembled for a repaint because the paint is slightly faded and there are 2 big primer spots on the rear quarters where paint was peeled off from previous owner by decals being removed. All metal, only needs 1 small repair on drivers quarter behind the tire for a rust hole about the size of a nickle. All stainless and grills are in great shape. Be very very hard pressed finding a solider car. This is an original texas car (only been in Maine for about 6 yrs.) and yes all the rubbers have already been replaced. The body man who was going to paint it ended up very sick and can not finish, so time to make room for other projects. $10k Currently has no title, but have a lost title app in hand and can get a Maine warranty title in 3-6 weeks if need be.

Just wondering if you still had the Barracuda. Am I correct in thinking it is running and drivable? You just had it down for body and paint when the man got sick? I am not ready to purchase right now but may be in the near future. Thanks

Last chance... if not sold in the next week or so she is headed to the painter and then a 340 will be going in the engine bay

Damn. I will have a 68 fastback someday. Awesome cars. Hope it works out for the best.

I love 68 fastbacks. It will be a beautiful car when painted. I paid top dollar for her because she is so darn solid. Unlike most of the rustbuckets in the northeast. Original plans were to dump a hemi in her, but a nice stout small block will be just fine

Serious inquirers give me a shout @ (207)212-1668. Can have a title in a short fashion. $8500???

10-4 on title on hand. You may be able to walk the paper work threw your dmv and get it right a way. Good luck.

I wouldn't even look at a car without a title. You are turning off about 95% of potential buyers by not having one.

Maine is one of the states that don't require a title on vehicles 25 yrs or older. It is 2nd nature to not care about one up here. I can get one easily. I may turn the paperwork in next week if that is the hold up. Had to get one for duster I sold in Pa. a few yrs back. Not to big of a deal.

I am interested in the car but I have to admit that is a big hangup for me. I just went through that with an Alabama car and we were able to get an Ohio title but had to jump through several hoops.

For being 45 years old this car is amazingly straight and clean. Must of been that nice dry, but hot, Texas weather. Surprised that the Texas heat didn't wreck the interior - that interior is super nice and not all hacked up. Do you have any pics of the underside of the car? You know, frame rails, suspension, trunk extensions, etc. I suspect that they are probably as nice as the top, but you know, a picture is worth a thousand words right? I am really liking this car ... so far.

Thanks!
Tom

Let us know when you get the title. My son is selling his car so he can buy a '68 Barracuda. (Hopefully this one!) Do you have the fender tag? Build sheet? Thanks.

Finding an all original metal body like this is few and far... In the northeast anyway.... I know I will be kicking myself later on
