Happy Veterans Day / Remembrance Day and thank you for your service and sacrifice. If you have any pics to post of yourself, siblings, relatives, past or present, Please post them up. You can tell a little story if you wish.

My stepdad was in the Navy after Korea and toured the world for his 4 year hitch, came home and signed up for another 2 years and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. He was on the USS Edmonds, a destroyer escort and he was a Gunners Mate (6" projectile) and a Corpsman. RIP Dad.

Daddy was in the Tonkin Gulf in 1966
We visited the USS Turner Joy in Bremerton (later the track for T&T the same day). To see what life had been like for him back then. He served on the USS Henry W. Tucker however.

My wife’s father served on as an accountant for the DOD (Navy) in Philadelphia after the war and retired only a decade ago!

We lost both within a month of each other in 2023. We miss you guys!

The first photo is my mother's maternal grand father, second and third are my cousin and last two are my wife's dad.
My dad was in the Minnesota army national guard field artillery. Don't have a good picture in uniform.
