Victor 340 single plane intake port size?

Who out there has or has seen the Victor 340. I have a brand new one here and the port size matches the 318 intake gasket. Is that your same experience? I'm thinking it would take one heck of a port job to get it to match a big aftermarket head.

i have 2 Victor intakes. 1 Victor 340 and 1 Victor W2. i have never measured the ports. a few years back i bought a Super Victor from Hughes Engines with there stage 2 porting work. i paid a lot extra for the stage 2 porting and i had another buddy buy a Super Victor from summit racing with no port work and we measured the difference. there was none. Hughes Engines made a lot of money on me that time.

i just measured the Victor 340. 2.025 x .980

got 2.04 x .99 on the one that is not ported matched ...got 3 of them on the cars and they have been ported matched

Thanks, mine measures 2.03' BY 1.01". I presume you two mean .980" and .990" 'cause you'sa got what I think are mighty narrow ports @ .098" and .099"

I have one that I port matched, the ports were small and core shift was horrible.
