Just picked up a new ride. 73 Dart Sport with a 360 short and a set of w2 econo's with a Comp xr274r solid roller cam with a set of Norris stainless roller rockers. The engine has excessive mechanical noise I checked the lash and I have 15-18 thou cold. But what I did notice is some of the rockers when you slide the feeler gauge under the roller on the rocker the roller itself actually moves upward somewhere around another 15-20 thou. I can't imagine this is normal. Are these rockers rebuildable?

I would not run it if one or more of the rollers let go it may cause damage .
