You can either shim up(a couple washer each side)for clearing the pan or get the V8 centerlink.I believe there,s a member(JackParlier)or (JacksDodges)has a couple V8 centerlinks for sale.Do a search in the early-A,s disscussions forum,hope this helps.

You mean you didnt get the 5 lb sledge as a part of the 273 conversion package? Clearance then wont be a problem.
Welcome to the learning process, on differences between models.
Have also figured out that you will want to change the gas pedal assembly to a V8 one. Kick down linkage ,for an AT, will need addressing. If your 273 didnt come from an A body, check out the oil filter 90 elbow.
Dont neglect looking at brakes.
Dont have a center link to offer, but many folks here have them.
