Warning! Power Force Balancer

I just dropped my engine & transmission into a borrowed race car. My son & buddy were trying to get it up on TDC compression stroke, so they could drop in the distributor. They keep having problems getting the balancer to line up. I told them, come on guys, you have done this a hundred times. I then got involved. The outer ring had come loose from the hub! I could rotate anywhere I wanted.
This is just another reason to not use this chinese crap! It was a POWER FORCE balancer from WORLD PRODUCTS. This balancer is only 2-years old, very little street use. Has anybody else had any concerns with these?
 
I had a similar problem, but it was an American made BHJ damper that had rotated about 18 degrees.
 
I believe everything is made in China now. They just put "Made in the USA" on there so people don't know the difference and will keep there mouths shut.

You don't believe me .... look at the unemployment lines!
