Washer bottle pump

Can anyone here possibly post some pics of how the pump is installed on the washer bottle of a 70 Duster? I have a new bottle, and new pump, but I don't know exactly how to set them up. I have this white plastic washer along with the rest of the parts. Don't know where it goes, either.

The plastic washer goes between the rubber grommet in the bottle and the plastic nut/filter.

I appreciate the reply, cudamark. Now that I know what that washer is for, can anybody advise how the pump motor is installed? I mean, does the end of the motor face the firewall or the radiator support?
