weird turn singals problem

My turn signals are working but when I turn the right one on the left and right come on and blink. But when i turn the left on it works like it should. I am thinking it is a ground hopefully but not sure but I dont no what wrongs with it The car is 71 duster

Could be a ground but more than likely its the switch.

ok thanks i drove it today and it work fine now it doing it so idk i goin to work on it tomo

Grounds are easy enough to check, but I second the switch idea. I had a similar situation that was cured by a new switch. They are still available through the dealer, but the new one I got had a different problem, and it had to be replaced!!!

i change the switch and it still does it the same thing I turn the headlights on and turn the right signal on and it wont fash but it will with them off.
