Unfortunately I'm giving up on this dream of mine . Picked up a
rusted out shell of a 1968 340 barracuda convertable a few years ago
out of Detroit . Not much there but the Vin #s might help someone
building a 68 cuda convertable . I have all the frame rails and
tranny cross member to streighten out the frame but it would be
easier just to rebody the car . I had picked up a 8 3/4 suregrip
391 ,727 and a nice 340 engine so had the driveline problem solved .
The data plate is missing but was told it was a formula S car .
Do'nt know if all the 340 convertables were formula S cars but do
have the title and it matches the VIN on the car and is a true P
code car ! Well have the 8 3/4 , rallye dash and wiring harness on
Ebay right now going out tonight if your interested in some rare
parts . Have the 340 block comming on later tonight . It is a date
coded 9-29-71 engine with all the machine work done ready to
rebuild . Check the pictures out tonight .My Ebay handle is
Hemigofast2 . Have a complete manual disc brake system i will be
selling also along with a lot of other parts .I still have a 68
charger project that i may hold on to . just need the garage space
right now . I do'nt believe i have any pictures of the barracuda but
may have some of the Charger up on my blog today .

Well just letting ya know about some hard to find parts for your
winter projects . Just keep a eye on Ebay this week . Good luck with

Only pieces I dont have are the interior light fixtures at rear foot wells.
I'd like to upgrade the rear seats bottom spring assembly and the header panel of the convertible top frame. I have to imagine yours are rusted as bad as mine though. :(
If you have the window fuzzies from inside the doors those are special to convertibles (like a lot of other bits and pieces) and bring a good coin on ebay.
I have a 68 notch here that I could turn into a Form S convertible easier than restoring the 67 but, number switching is illegal .

How much would you want for the complete disk brake setup, the rear end, and the 340?
Where are you located?
Could you get pictures?
