Were all roof seams leaded

This is my 72 Scamp and appears to be bogged. Did the factory do this?

I’ve never seen one that wasn’t lead from the factory, but I can only confirm pre-70.

On B body cars- starting around '72, cars with vinyl tops got filler instead of lead.

They used vynil tops to mask pizz poor bondo application. Lead would flow out soooo nice,,, and injure and maybe kill.

My '70 Chargers both had vinyl tops and were smoothed over with filler. I was told that it was common to use body filler on vinyl top cars and lead on the others. By the early 70s, all were done with the "Bondo" sort of plastic filler.
"Bog".....You guys have funny words down there. Up HERE, a Bog is often defined as a deep puddle of mud.

Vinyl tops got filler so it would rust more better and more sooner.
