What’s the tallest front tires you can put on a stock 67 Dart? I have 15x4.5” rims on the front. Will 28” tires work or 26” tires? Thanks

At stock suspension height, and without cutting away sheet metal, I'd say 26.5". 25.6" tires such as a 225/60-15 fit fine. And it does depend on the width and offset of the wheel.

28" if you raise torsion bars....26" should fit with no adjustment

I run 26" tall tires on my 68 with plenty of room to spare. A lot will depend on the wheel backspacing, width of the tire, and ride height of the front suspension.

My 67 B'cuda is sitting on 215/70/14 withOEM steel wheels and hub caps. No issues other than speedometer being a little bit wrong.
Your OEM bias ply tire was closer to 185/14.

All you need is a lift kit. Imagine if this was your stock 67 Dart. Cool, huh?

I run 28 but this is max caster as they will rub the front fender without it. Make sure you test fit it as ever car is a touch different. If you want to be safe use 27 or smaller. Also running max caster is a good thing. Been doing this for a long time on these a bodies hope this helps.

May I ask the OP why you'd want 28" tires on the front?
