what 2 do?

I have a 72 Dart that I am in the process of putting a a 440 in so my question is you have 2 lines coming off the fuel tank, one is fuel the other for the carcoal filter, what to do with the filter line, if you block it off will it do harm to fuel system? or cause vapor lock? please let me hear your ideas.

I take them and put an in line filter on them (to keep the bugs out)after cutting them shorter and usually put a piece of coled 5/16 brake line tubing and use it for a vent.its always worked for me.....Artie

It can also be used as a return line. That's sorta what it was originally.
